Soluble in methanol, butyl alcohol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, ring already ketone, methylene chloride, chloroform
      What is glass interlayer?

Laminated glass is a safety glass in which two or more panes are bonded together to form a unit. In this process, the intermediate film is used to bond the two panes together when manufacturing this type of glass. The use of safety intermediate membranes has many advantages, and more information about these advantages can be found here. This intermediate membrane is usually made of PVB (polyvinyl butyral), but there are many other intermediate membranes available. PVB is one of the oldest intermediate films used in laminated glass, and its use can be traced back to the 1930s. It is widely used in laminated glass used in the automobile industry. SGP (SentryGlass Plus) is another popular safety intermediate film used in laminated glass, which has higher strength and safety. Hot dipped and tempered glass can be added to laminated glass to create a security pane that is difficult to break or even more difficult to break.

      What is PVB interlayer?

Polyvinyl butyral is a tough plastic resin used to bond two glass panels together. It is made from polyvinyl alcohol by reacting with butyraldehyde. Place this resin between glass panels and apply a combination of heat and pressure to form a laminate.

      What is the SGP interlayer?

SGP is an ionic plastic intermediate film, which has extremely high weather resistance and strength level when used for laminated glass. Both are usually manufactured using the same process, which applies heat and pressure to the glass to melt the intermediate layer and then acts as glue to bond the panes together. Glass using this tough plastic intermediate film is more expensive than glass using PVB, but it has many advantages, such as higher transparency.
